The 8th China International Import Expo kicked off on the morning of November 5 in Shanghai and will run through November 10.

Gilles Thonet, Deputy Secretary-General at IEC attended a session around the international standards and artificial intelligence. He considered China to be a key participator in artificial intelligence of the world. He also stated that international standards can only be created through worldwide cooperation, and that cooperation lets us boost global trade, enhance product safety and efficiency, and ultimately benefit the entire world. “Global forum like CIIE makes that possible,” he noted.
